Our baby girl turned 2 last week. She melts my heart. Yesterday I had a rare experience with her. She woke up grumpy from her too-short nap, so I sat down with her in the recliner in her room. She a slept for about an hour on my chest. I watched her little hand move as she drifted in slumber, then she quickly tucked both hands deeply between us, snugging in as if I were her swaddle blanket. I was given a wonderful hour of prayer, reflection and random thoughts of what to add to the grocery list. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
